| As always, family was central to today's gathering - it was good to see everyone, including Jim Musselman and family from Arizona, and all the Nagais and Tanakas from across the state. We sorely missed the Carmel Valley Nagais this season, as they are dealing with major health issues at this time - our prayers and good thoughts go out to them - wish they were here, but more, wish them good health and wellbeing and a bright New Year... |
In addition to Thanksgiving, we celebrated Glenn Musselman's 80th birthday - gotta say, he doesn't look a day over 79...! Of course, we had way too much food, as always, and the preparers of the desserts outdid themselves - we did make quite a dent in them through heroic efforts. The wee ones who were babes last year are up and around and into everything, as they should be - their energy was a pleasant undercurrent to the festivities... |
