| Granny and Jiichan hosted the four grandchildren for part of today, while parents went about the business of preparing for the Christmas Eve doings later in the day - it was essentially a regular Wednesday for Granny and Jiichan and the grandchildren, with Xander and Teiya spending time with Granny at the Panorama Drive house, while Casey and Venice went out on an abbreviated Jiichan outing, this time a trip to the McDonald's out on E. 11th Avenue where we snacked on ice cream and french fries and they played on the climbing structure... |
Then later in the day, around 4:00 o'clock, Granny and Jiichan joined Nana and Geepa over at the Nagai-Beyer home on Monroe to celebrate Christmas Eve - Casey and Teiya opened some of their presents in a somewhat more relaxed atmosphere. Diana and Chris spent Christmas Eve as family in their home, and Venice and Xander also opened some of their presents...
Casey opened and built a Bionicle creature, and Teiya a shopping cart to go with the kitchen stove she got a year ago... |
