| Thanksgiving found us gathering at Tori and Paul's for a late afternoon and evening as family - We pooled our talents and brought food for the occasion, and even went to the extent of buying two Waring professional buffet warming trays to keep food warm. In fact it made things easier as food could be cooked at home and brought warm and placed in the warming trays to prevent or avoid overloading the local ovens... |
The scenario worked perfectly for the food part of the evening, and the good thing is that we have the warming trays for any future gatherings of family and friends - Good planning, team. Venice shared with the extended family a diorama she created, not for school but a project she and her mom thought up at home. The evening after dinner was time for talk and such, while the grandchildren played to their heart's content... |
