Guess Whoooo...!

Oh, migawd...! - Here's the photographer in his Sunday best, some 59-60 years ago...! - Everyone must know that the world was black & white back then - and, check out them big ears...!

This must be around 1940ish farming country outside Atwater, CA - it looks like the DeZaveni place, where we lived just a stone's throw from my uncle's farm, and a quarter mile from the Bell Drive home we moved to shortly - I guess it could also be my Uncle George's place...

Here I am making a racket - maybe around age 10 months...

I love this one - I took this shot of my daughter at the Sunday Brunch the day after her wedding - caught in the act of catching me catching her catching me...

Here are the two grandchildren, Casey and Venice, on Father's Day 2002 - who knows what goes thru the minds of wee ones, but this sure is a delightful shot...

Casey at times plays in the recycle bin, he being the curious one - Here's a vision to warm any parent's heart, or strike terror at the thought:

Child-proof gates: $147.00
Drawer and cabinet locks: $25.00
Electrical outlet protectors: $36.00
Liquor cabinet web-cam: Priceless...

Photo taken by Mamma-san Tori....Serendipity...? - Naww, just excellent photography...!

Here's Venice showing she's a force to be reckoned with - Pay attention when I'm talking to you, bud...!

Blarney

OK, this isn't a photograph, but I decided to put it here because it's one of my quirky play on words. In this case it's that icon in the children's pop-culture arena, one which I find hard to stomach - I'm glad neither of my kids nor their spouses like the original that I'm making fun of, which means my grandchildren won't grow up with this beasty...

When I was still working I used to post this image on my door on St. Patrick's Day - my homage to the Irish in me...! - Well, the Asian Irish in me...

Each year the Nagai/Tanaka family gathers for our annual family reunion at Morro Bay State Park. This year we were at San Simeon State Park, but the times were pretty much the same - family time...

This is my brother checking out the barnacles and sea life on the rocks along the shoreline...

Casey Travolta

On this day Casey fell and sustained a compression fracture of the right wrist - he lived through it, and returned full of vim and vigor - striking a fun pose, he reminds me of one John Travolta...

Since he was around two Casey and I would trek to Jack London Square for our regular outing - he never tired of it, and was forever excited especially with all the trains, freight and Amtrak, that traveled through this special place...

Casey to this day does some remarkable things to keep things interesting whenever we are out, and it is always a treat for me not knowing what might happen - here he was walking down the street, hat pulled down over his eyes, walking along blindly but as bold as you please - he told me that he was trying to walk and see if his hat would fall off...
