Parker Play Reading

June 2010

Students of various grades at Venice's school put on a play reading to which parents and grandparents were invited. Students used in-hand scripts and read their lines, while enacting the actions as they read. Venice was a hummingbird in her play... This approach allows each child actor to relax into the action portion without having to worry about memorizing their lines - As a technique it worked wonderfully well, and each student performed their part in a relaxed mode..
