| Due to the great weather this month we spent all of our Granny/Jiichan outings outdoors - And with all the parks available, this was an easy task to fulfill. We started with Amazon Park, aka Dinosaur Park, and midway through went on a Granny led walk through the marshy areas around the Amazon Pool. A second outing took us to Skinner Butte Park with its many climbing structures... |
Skinner Butte is a harder park for Granny and Jiichan because as a relatively new park none of the trees have grown sufficiently to provide shade, and the sun does get to be scorching during the summer months. Then an after outing period at the house one day, and a return to Amazon (Dinosaur) Park to end the month...
