| On one occasion of a Wednesday outing Venice worked with Granny with learning to press flowers - she picked some flowers from the front yard, gently cleaned them, dried them with paper towels, and placed them between wax paper. The next stage involved heating them in the micro-wave, which totally dried them. They were then placed in the pages of our really heavy and thick Webster's Dictionary for the next 2-3 weeks... |
We went as an extended family to Venice's old school (ATA) one day for an Asian Kite Flying afternoon, where there were Taiko Drums, Asian music, and kite making. Casey and Venice made kites and they sort of flew, but the best flyers were ones the family brought - And, a couple of high-flyers seen here being flown by others...
