| This month we were visited by friends from California, Jenny and Craig and son Calder over the 4th of July holiday. Jenny was the minister who officiated for all three of our familys - The Hallowedding for Tori and Paul, Villa Montalvo for Diana and Chris, and in the case of Granny and Jiichan their 40th wedding anniversary ceremony 10 years ago. We affectionately refer to Jenny as the Bailey-Nagai Family Minister. We enjoyed each other's company over dinner, and caught up on each other's lives while the children played both outside and in the play room... |
The weather on the 4th was warm enough that the kids enjoyed the lawn sprinklers in their bathing suits. After sunset there were several nearby neighbors who yearly entertain the surrounding neighborhoods with those illegal sky rocket bursts - I didn't capture any of those. We did our own street fare along with the neighbor across the street who also set off their set of street fireworks. We ended the month with a Granny/Jiichan outing at the house, and a trip to Maurie Jacobs Park for a pleasant evening...
