| On one Wednesday outing Jiichan took Venice alone to Gray's Nursery to buy some flowering plants for the front area of the Panorama Drive house. She was enamoured with the house cat at the nursery, and made quick friends. We bought some lavender plants and a few planting flowers for the front yard. Granny has started doing science experiments with the grandkids at the house - this one was to study the different specific gravities of various liquids, which they colored to be able to see them stratified in living color - then, Casey painted the wall of his bedroom with his new hero, Percy Jackson...
