The Pleasanton Copenhagens, Shawn and Dan, hosted this year's gathering, after having done so two years ago - Thank you again, Guys...! Kylie and Anna helped with deciding the theme for this time, "Winter Wonderland," and preparing name plates for the various dishes and desserts - and Conner helped with decorating snowman placemats and performing a most active and enthusiastically choreographed welcoming dance. There were some very creative names for some creative creations for the meal. As always, excellent food, wonderful time catching up for the adults, and relaxed play for the younger set. ...
Once again the number of wee ones expanded, this year to include Kaitlyn Signor, who last year missed the event nursing a new and fragile immune system, but this year presenting a healthy and vigorous presence, and new-born Logan Smith of the Hawaii Smiths at 4 1/2 months old, accompanied by proud new parents, Alex and Ean - last year's young'uns, Skye Lohman-Baesen, Teiya Nagai-Beyer and Xander Nagai-Bailey were a year older, and had roaming rights around the place. Conner Copenhagen, Taylor Smith, Casey Beyer-Nagai, Venice Nagai-Bailey, and Tristan Lohman-Baesen, were the elder young'uns, and had their own roam and play plans.
