| We took a trip as an extended family out to a Christmas Tree Farm north of town on a crisp wintry morning. Each family found their tree and hauled it back to the pay station. It was brisk - way cold., but a fun time. Then it was decorating time at Granny and Jiichan's home, and the kids took to it with enthusiasm - especially when Jiichan allowed them to climb the ladder to hang ornaments... |
Venice did a couple of magic tricks she'd learned for parents at pick-up time on a Wednesday outing day - very deft hands, there Venice. Then we all gathered at Tori and Paul's for Christmas Eve present sharing and food, and then at Diana and Chris' on Christmas Day for more presents and way too much food - it always seems to happen that there is all this great food when family gathers - Why is that...? |
