| One of the Granny & Jiichan outings was a stay-at-home play session at Granny & Jiichan's where all the grandchildren played with the Manger scene and mini-holiday-figures on the shelf-top. Then we as a whole extended family ventured out to a local Christmas tree farm north of town to cut our holiday trees. It was very brisk weather, but a fun time riding out to the setting, cutting down our trees, and shepherding them home... |
Then Venice treated parents and the rest of us to an impromptu magic show - pretty amazing, there, Venice...! Then it was tree decorating time at Granny & Jiichan's, and later opening gifts over at Tori & Paul's on Hilyard on Christmas Eve, and later still Christmas day dinner at Diana & Chris' on Blacktail . The year ended with a working volcano, and a sleep-over for all four grandchildren at Granny & Jiichan's, but the only one who stuck it out over night was Teiya...! |
