Coloring Easter eggs organized by Granny, and then hunting them, is becoming a tradition. And it's a challenge to hide the real eggs and the plastic ones filled with coins and candy and an occasional small toy, AND THEN to remember where the heck they were hidden when the kids don't find them all. This year we tried something new to avoid the drama of someone not finding the same number of eggs as the others... |
Each child colored and identify their own real eggs with their initials, and then chose a specific color among the plastic eggs and could only find their color of plastic eggs. This seemed to work well, as there were no feelings of unfairness in the end.
