| Xander and Teiya have discovered the front lawn at Granny's house, and love to run down the slight slope catching the wind in their hair - here they also revel in the snow in the falling petals of the flowering tree in the yard, which Granny accommodatingly shook for them - snow in April. Well, it did snow on the 19th of this month, so there you have it! Xander did find some activities to undertake at Teiya's third birthday party alone, and settled into singular play - otherwise, there were plenty of fun and games and treats at the party for one and all... |
On one very excited day Xander accompanied Jiichan on a Jiichan outing to the local McDonald's out on 11th - there's an indoor play structure that all the grandchildren love to assault. It escapes memory why, but for some reason he was over to Jiichan's house without any other grandchildren around, so a special outing made a whole lot of sense, much to his delight. While there, Xander tried using Jiichan's car keys to try to unlock a padlock on the play structure, not grasping that they were different keys - it was good he got the idea and gave it a scientific try... |
