| Early this month our three families went to an Asian Faire at the county fair grounds in Eugene. There were ethnic food booths, a host of business concessions selling their wares, a small historic exhibit describing Asian history and influence in Oregon, and some demonstrations, including by some local artists, one being a sculptor, and a Chinese lion dance with beating drums... |
We had given Xander and Venice each Build-A-Bears for Christmas, so we took them on an excursion to build their bears - a fun place, this, with an amazing asortment of bear skins which you fill with stuffing, and include a speaking device or one that plays music, your choice.
