| Come mid-month the collective Eugene families journeyed to Thistledown Farm north of the city to harvest some pumpkins for the upcoming Halloween festivities. We were treated to a walk over a mini-covered bridge, a horse-drawn trailer ride out to the pumpkin patch, and free rein to choose pumpkins, though of course we paid for all we picked - then, a horse-drawn trailer ride back so we didn't have to cart the pumpkins back ourselves... |
Xander is following in the footsteps of his father in the kitchen, enjoying helping with cookie making, and water play in the kitchen sink, the latter more fun play than actual cooking...
At the end of the month we all gathered at the home of Diana and Chris for Halloween - first some late afternoon play for the kids, a fun dinner, and then out into the neighborhood for Trick or Treat and to garner candy and treats... |
