| Xander and Venice and Mama visited the Berkeley homestead early in the month - we strolled over to a children's playground a short distance from the house. Xander latched onto Jiichan's hand for the transit - how cute. The weather was warm enough that he and Venice played in the water and sand tray outside in the driveway. In mid-month Granny and Jiichan accompanied the Rocklin and Alameda clans to Eugene and Portland to continue the exploration of the north country, this in preparation for the mass-family move north come spring 2007 - it was a profitable visit to the northern exposure... |
Jiichan had a ball exploring Eugene with Xander and family for several days, and then we all joined the Alameda crew and Granny in Portland for an exploration of that community. Xander discovered his cousin, Teiya, the Alameda princess - he had seen her and spent time with her before, but this was the first time he initiated play with her, and she responded - so cute. After several play days with Jiichan visiting Rocklin, the Alameda clan and Granny and Jiichan gathered in Rocklin for a festive Halloween spree - the kids had fun, the grownups had fun, and the goblins were nicely treated... |
