| Xander and Venice visited Granny and Jiichan early in the month, and we all visited a children's playground nearby within walking distance. Xander loved the walk over, though he was in his stroller, and had a ball at the playground with all its neat climbing structures and tires and such. He was fearless in climbing, jumping, and scaring the heck out of Jiichan climbing the one cement staircase without assistance...Later Xander and Venice visited the Berkeley homestead again on a day that Jiichan normally takes Casey for his weekly trek - this time to the Lawrence Hall of Science... |
Xander loved the interactive exhibits throughout the hall, playing in the neat sandbox outdoors, and in general running, climbing, and jumping. The end of the month found him entertaining Granny and Jiichan eating with chopsticks...
