| This month found Venice and Casey visiting Gateway Mall to play some Glow-in-the-Dark Golf, only to find it had closed. We suspect the business failed for lack of customers, we usually being the only players during our visits - too bad, as it was a fun outing choice. We also spent one afternoon at Border's Books, a favorite location for these two, where they checked out books to buy after reading through some just for fun.... |
Granny brought out a scientific experiment, a working volcano with flowing lava - curiously, the kids found that the baking soda used as part of the propellant was tasty enough that they licked the powder off the sides of the volcano. We gathered as four families for Thanksgiving at the home of Diana and Chris - Chris was master chef, and cooked up some 13 courses - tasty treats, all... |
