| This month went by quickly - after a few visits early in the month, we gathered at the home of Shawn and Dan Copenhagen in Pleasanton for a holiday fest, a gathering four families have maintained for some 40+ years - we've shared in the births of many children, all of whom are now grown and parents in their own right. Venice was right at home with all the people, all of whom she'd met the year before, though because of the time distance she didn't remember most. She hit if off well with Tristan, and together they worked on some individual artwork... |
The Rocklin Nagai-Bailey clan came down to Alameda for a Christmas eve meal and celebration, and the opening of gifts for the children. Afterwards we all took a stoll along the street of Christmas lights, a block-long festival of lights just a couple of blocks from home.
Then on Christmas day Granny and Jiichan trekked up to Rocklin and spent the day with Venice and Xander opening gifts and playing with their newly received gifts in the front courtyard... |
