| Teiya has become quite the athlete, running and jumping and climbing as agile as a gazelle or gibbon. She is becoming very comfortable with her body in action. But when the collective families took a tour of Thistledown Farms in search of holiday pumpkins, she was more reserved and hung out near Mom - everyone took to the corn maze, that's not corn maize, and followed the path through a crazy pattern that got everyone lost...! - It was either Uncle Paul or Uncle Chris who found a pattern of markers as clues to lead everyone out to safety. We were taken by tractor-drawn trailer out to the pumpkin fields, where we found the fields somewhat picked over, but, everyone found pumpkins to their liking, and returned with their prizes... |
For Halloween, our families gathered at the home of Diana and Chris for an evening of food and treats - Nana and Geepa decided to remain in their home for the fun holiday as the newest neighbor on their street to receive and treat Trick-or-Treaters who came to call. Later, dressed in their costumes, Teiya, dressed as a Walking Turtle, Casey as Luke Skywalker, Venice as a Fairy-Mermaid, and Xander as a Golfer, called on the home of Nana and Geepa in search of treats - they were received welcomed in to be greeted by Uncle Carl and Aunt Tracy, visiting from Washington. Returning to Venice's and Xander's neighborhood, our Trick-or-Treaters visited homes as they relished roaming in the darkened streets while in the comfort of family... |
