| This month marked the beginning of kindergarten for brother, Casey, and cousin, Venice - both were quite anxious over this new step, so the families got together for a celebration of their new beginnings, in part to ease the anxiety, in part to just party...! - Tieya and Xander got into the spirit of fun, and spread the floor of the craft room with beads making quite a mess - this prompted a clean-up session before the end of the evening. Venice and Xander's grandparents, RooRoo and Poppi, came up for the extended weekend to join the celebration. Teiya attached herself to them during the evening... |
Many the day was spent in play at various parks, including Skinner Butte Park, the favorite, and Amazon Park, affectionately known as the dinosaur park because of the cement dinosaur there. Climbing on the dinosaur is a favorite pastime when visiting this park. Weather permitting, and it did in grand style the whole of the month, we toured many of the parks for fun in the sun time - sand play was great, and Teiya and Xander got along famously. They shared time at home, and played with the computer and a hand-held computer game by Leap Frog- sharing was an issue, but with help they fared ok... |
