| Every other Thursday, alternating with Rocklin, Jiichan visits in Alameda, and spends time playing with Casey and Teiya - on these Thursdays Granny drops by after work, and we all spend dinner time together. Casey plays well with Teiya, and cares for her deeply. At times he complains that she is bothersome, but mostly he cares for her. The northern trek to visit Portland and Eugene went well, and Teiya took to it well - a touching thing happened along the way, she and cousin Xander hit it off very well, especially from Xander's side. Teiya loves to be read to, and here tries her hand at reading to herself, and later gets more reading time from Granny. She is learning how to feed herself, and is getting somewhat past painting herself all over with food - a blessing for Mama Tori, for sure. For Halloween Teiya dressed as a clown - Papa Paul wore her conical hat, as she refused to wear it after a while. While being somewhat anxious about going outdoors and into the night, she did walk up to a couple of doors, holding tightly to Mama's hand, and held out her pumpkin basket for candy... |
