| Some days all four grandchildren play at the house - it usually is a time when Granny is having Xander and Teiya for a stretch of time, while Jiichan takes Casey and Venice out on a Jiichan outing. Casey and Venice will sometimes opt to stay at home to play, and this is when they all four end up playing somewhat together - mostly these are times of cooperative play, with considerable patience on the part of Casey and Venice. We did celebrate Mother's Day over at Diana and Chris' home, but I failed to get any pictures of the gathering, missing another opportunity a second year in a row - bummer...! |
We often go bowling at Emerald Bowl on our outings, a favorite pastime - with a mini-pizza and a soft drink and a couple of lines of bowling, that makes the day. We also make it out to Skinner Butte Park, the favorite of all the parks in Eugene - this includes the blue whale, a cute and simple climbing structure. Then, one day the reason which escapes me Venice didn't go with us, but Xander did, so it was Casey and Xander to the Science Museum...
