| This month saw the beginning of a new phase for Casey and Venice - both entered kindergarten for their first formal schooling, and there was some intense anxieties surrounding the event for both. The families gathered the weekend before school started to celebrate the event, and wish them Good Luck and a good year - there were gifts and rootbeer floats, the order of the day - RooRoo and Poppi, Venice's grandparents, were also in attendance from Corona del Mar... |
RooRoo and Poppi invited everyone over to their hotel to swim and play in the hotel pool. That was a great day for splashing The weather being so pleasant, we spent much of the month visiting various parks in the city, including their favorite, Skinner Butte Park, and we took one of Jiichan's outings to a stretch of the river near the rose gardens where Casey and Venice enjoyed some water play alongside some ducks - idyllic, fun-filled, and soothing for everyone... |
