Casey has returned to the Lawrence Hall of Science with a vengence - this is currently our destination of choice for our Wednesday outings. The Grossology exhibit is now long gone, replaced by the Science of the Circus interactive exhibits. Casey spent some time with the dress-up and costume area, trying on various hats and lifting weights, and tried the hoola hoop - he needs more practice with that one. He spent time also with the puzzle with various shapes, making a variety of subjects...
The one self-portrait taken by Jiichan was taken in the restroom while Casey was taking care of business... |
There is a section for younger children, a foam block area - Casey loves this section as well, even though he is older than most children who opt to play there. This time we build some interestingly stacked structures - he is careful when we get towards a tall structure that wobbles, and at times cautions against too swift a movement - he loves it, and tries to make one that's really tall. Casey also loves the Kapla wooden blocks - they're great for building towers and tall structures - he loves it, too...
Casey spent his time again in the earthquake area outdoors - he loves the forces of nature and how he can interact with them... |
